Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the PinBubbles mobile app and any related services we operate (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PinBubbles. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you confirm a parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. You agree not to share your account, impersonate other users, or create accounts through automated means. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or our community guidelines.

3. Content you post

You retain ownership of bubbles, comments, and images you post. By posting, you grant PinBubbles a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service for as long as the content is active.

You agree not to post content that:

• Harasses, threatens, or doxxes another person
• Contains hate speech, sexual content involving minors, or graphic violence
• Promotes illegal activity, scams, or self-harm
• Infringes another party's intellectual property
• Is mass-posted, automated, or otherwise spam
• Impersonates a business or location you have no affiliation with (Business tier verification rules apply)

We use automated moderation (AWS Comprehend + Rekognition) at submit time and accept community reports for review. We may remove content that violates these rules and apply penalties (warning → mute → ban) depending on severity and history.

4. Location data

PinBubbles is a location-based service. By posting a bubble, you confirm you have the right to share content tied to that location. You agree not to use the Service to surveil, track, or stalk another person. Free and Pro tier bubbles must be posted within roughly 100 metres of your current GPS position; Business tier may pin within 5km of your GPS for verified business addresses.

5. Subscriptions

PinBubbles offers paid subscriptions (Pro and Business) processed through Apple App Store, Google Play, or RevenueCat. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can cancel through your platform's subscription settings — see Data Deletion → Subscription cancellation for steps.

Refunds are handled by the platform you purchased through (Apple or Google) according to their refund policies; we cannot issue refunds directly.

6. Acceptable behaviour

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Probe, scan, or test the security of our infrastructure without written permission
• Scrape data using bots or automated tools
• Use the Service to develop a competing product
• Interfere with the Service's operation (e.g. denial of service)

7. Reputation system

PinBubbles assigns each user a karma score (0–500+) based on community signals — upvotes, reports, moderation outcomes, and positive engagement. Karma may grant access to certain features (e.g. faster posting). Karma is not transferable and cannot be bought or sold.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time — see Data Deletion. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you materially violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, NOR THE ACCURACY OF LOCATION OR USER-GENERATED CONTENT.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PINBUBBLES AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, OR USD 50, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Bangkok, Thailand, unless local consumer-protection law gives you the right to litigate elsewhere.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance.
