Data Deletion

PinBubbles respects your right to control your personal data. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time, with no need to contact us first.

Delete from the app (recommended)

Open the PinBubbles app.
Go to Profile → Settings.
Tap Delete Account.
Read the warning, then type DELETE to confirm.

Because deletion is irreversible, the app requires you to have re-authenticated within the last 5 minutes. You will be prompted to sign in again if necessary.

Delete by email

If you cannot access the app, send an email to support@pinbubbles.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address registered on your PinBubbles account. We will verify ownership and process the request within 30 days.

What is deleted immediately

Your user profile (display name, photo URL, bio)
Your Firebase Authentication record
All active subscriptions records (RevenueCat continues to bill until the period ends — see below)
Device tokens used for push notifications
In-app notifications addressed to you
Penalty / strike history
Reports you have filed
Block list and mute list
Business profile (if any)
Active messages (bubbles): hard-deleted along with their images on S3

What is archived for moderation review

Messages that have been flagged or reported are moved to a moderation archive for up to 30 days after your account deletion, after which they are permanently purged. This protects the community from bad-faith deletions that try to evade accountability for harmful content.

What is retained (and why)

Subscription cancellation

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop billing:

iOS: Settings → [Your Apple ID] → Subscriptions → PinBubbles → Cancel Subscription
Android:Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → PinBubbles → Cancel
